Update!
Okay okay! I'm finally back!

What cool lace necklaces, eh? I am thinking I will probably get into jewelry making again this summer, so I might try to do something of this sort...
In the last week I have:
Driven across the state to help my dad with his boat
Driven back across the state with a Uhaul
Filled said Uhaul
Driven across the state again, with Uhaul
Emptied Uhaul
Boated up Puget Sound
Sat in Seattle traffic for 2 hours.
and finally relaxing.
And since all my clothes are in various suitcases from the move, my outfit availability is basically limited to what I am currently wearing with very little variation. Also, my camera has been hiding here and there during the move, so I have not taken any pictures this week. Not to worry, great pictures are coming!
But to keep this post from looking too text-y, here are a couple cool photos which I believe came from ffffound.
Rain
I got an email from Ruche today showing me this dress... instant love!
I love black and yellow combinations. Something about roads and piper supercubs...

... though I don't much care for bumblebees, the original yellow/black combo. They are cute alright, if it's the fuzzy kind.
It rains here very randomly. It will be an 80 degree sunny day and then all of a sudden a big black rumbling cloud will come in and for like a half hour to an hour it will be a storm. It's bizarre to me, but I suppose this is how it is in some places, just not where I'm from. The smell after rain is just so amazing though. It's like the whole world is new... like the earth's "new car smell." The whole earth seems like it gets a fresh start, wiped clean of everything that happened before the rain. It reminds me of Noah's flood. How the world was disgusting and people had just become so filthy that the earth needed a deep clean, so God sent the floods. It's like a tiny reminder of that every time it rains nowadays. A tiny cleanse of the world. It's funny to think how God built in this cleaning system. Water just falls from the sky and washes everything. Isn't that kind of weird to think about?
*edit*
I became non-lazy and took outfit pictures:

A month.
Well, here's the story, morning glory.
Things that are going to happen within the month:
1. I am moving out of my apartment and my "hometown" of four years.
2. I am spending the summer with my family.
3. I am not getting a job here... as I am moving soon.
4. My love is moving to Germany, for at least six months.
5. I will probably decide to move home to Alaska for the winter.
6. I will finally get to drive my car! Sorry Honda, you're wonderful, it's just not the same.
7. I will get my heart and life together after this confusing time of post-grad has wreaked havok on my brain! (hopefully)
Sorry for the dearth of posts. You know how it goes.
Hamburger Helper.
I had a phone interview today. I just really want a job. I hate talking on phones though, so a phone interview was really not my favorite thing at all. It's like I never know the right answers to the questions they are asking. Hopefully I came off as good as I looked on paper. I know I look great on paper, but on the phone/in person I don't know. Pray for my interview and that I get a call back to come in for an actual interview!!
Today I cried for about an hour remembering how my ex cheated on me. I don't know why something that happened four years ago made me cry all of a sudden. I just don't understand why someone who claims to love you would cheat on you. I don't understand how any one does that to anyone else. I hope I am never cheated on again. I am not sure I could take the heartbreak.
I spent about a half hour looking for my laundry key this afternoon, becoming convinced that it was lost forever. Then I realized that I was smarter than I even thought and had put it next to my detergent. Sigh.
Tonight I am making Hamburger Helper!!! I'm so Suzy Homemaker right now, eh? I love Hamburger helper, I don't know why.
Job Hunting
Well, yesterday I think I applied to three different jobs, and then today I did one, and maybe will do another later.
I was walking in NYC with my friend Jenny and we saw this guy with a snake and a polaroid camera. Obviously I had to have a picture. I'm pretty sure this is my new favorite picture of all time. Also, my desire to have a small green snake named Charles has been reawakened.
Job hunting outfit...
Skirt/thrift : shoes/BCBGirls : Striped dress/Old Navy : Top/Billabong
Here is the only picture I got of my whole trip:
I was tagged by anacecilia to do 7 things I love. Here you go! (I'm going to assume family doesn't count because... Well, of course I love my family!!)
1. My Love! Duh.
5. Music. Good music. I just made my summer playlist yesterday. It's epic.
